Hnestly, I'd like to go in the selling and reselling for information products but I won't just limit myself to one path. Many would agree that it'd be a lot more effective for one to focus he/her energy on doing a single thing well. While I agree to that, I believe it depends on an individual's situation as well.
Yes, I'd like to pour my energy into one aspet, however, I need the resources (money) to make progress in that area. With that said, I'm trying to incorporate other possibilities of revenue streams to finance my main goal. On top of that, being unemployed, I'm free to do all this, so yeah...hahahaha
Okay, trading...
This was the first things I was looking into at the beginning of this mess. I wanted to sell things on eBay, seeing as how easily, or so it seems, that people are able to make money from selling on eBay. And so research I did, started off with free information, before deciding to spend a little on e-books that looked like they could help. Well, they undeniably did help me gain a basic understanding of how eBay worked and how to use it, but the more I fell into holes, in my hypothetical path.
These problems never crossed my mind before, until I began studying more on it.
- Where do I get products to sell?
- How much do I sell them for?
- Would people still buy my products if its price were a little higher than the rest?
- Where do I start the bidding?
- What is the ratio of luck to good advertising that would make up my earnings
And perhaps most importantly, where the hell am I supposed to get new products at a price lower than what was being offered on eBay? Their prices are ridiculously low. Of course, I'd probably have more questions and found more holes, if I had continued in that direction.
Well, I'll try to answer some of those questions with what I've learnt...
Trading - buying low, selling high. When "high" is that low on eBay, you gotta be wondering how they'd make any profit from that. Here's your answer;

Yep, chances are, they managed to forge connections with Chinese manufacturers that would normally be eager to get rid of their stock at an extremely low price, especially if you're gonna buy in bulk. When I say "manufacturers though, I do mean the original suppliers of that product. No middle-man (or woman) involved.
I can help you with that, but chances are, you are having concerns about the risk involved in purchasing from Chinese suppliers., which is understandable, due to their reputation. However, as I'd say with many other things< don't generalize. If you want a fair judgement, and if you want to the the true potential of a business transaction with them, do it. If you don't want to trust them, or would like to warn others about them, then trust, and be cheated by EVERY one of the individuals or organizations first. It's more fair to the honest ones out there.
Okay, back to topic. You could either personally make calls and ask around for possible connections, or you could search the Internet. Yes, using the Internet for that just makes it all that more risky, but thereare measures you could put in place. Before that though, let me name these two sites first.

Here's To All Aspiring Web Marketers
It's not easy. It's ridiculously hard to find success in this field. Creating a web presence for yourself is really hard-work, and I'm just talking about the marketing part. The research you'd have to do on your niche, keyword research, and lots more go into running a successful internet business or website.
When I say "simple ways to make money", please do not mistake it as it being "easy". Those were all chances, one-in-a-million long shots that would very much depend on your luck to ge you paid.
No matter how enticing some offers may seem, telling you how you could make loads really quickly, I know now, that a LOT of work and luck would have to be running in the show backstage for any money to show itself.
I know that now...I've been sold to hypes so much that I know now that things never come out that easy, well, almost. If you'd like to begin an internet business that lasts and that is stable, you've gotta work for it.
And that's what I'm gonna do.
I'm sorry if I've misled anyone with my writing thus far. It's time to get serious. For starters, I'm going to try to read through as much material I've purchased as my patience would let me. I'm become members of...maybe almost 20 sites so far, and the good thing, apart from the fact that a lot of them were one-time life memberships, is that they were mostly information-based. They were created to help, for the most part, enough to make themselves a decent living I guess;) I'll try to post e-books I have give-away rights to, well, links to where they're hosted, so you'd be able to download them.
I find that if I'm able to promise you that I'm gonna help you, I'll make sure I'm at a sufficient level of capability for it. I'll still try hosting ads and affiliate links here and there on this blog 'cause well, I need the money and wouldn't want to completely shut the door on my chances of that happening here.
Until next time, be sure to do your research! Read, read, read! Spending money on educational products is a sound investment. The more you know what you're doing, the less money you're gonna waste. Remember that:)
P.S. Don't worry if you have doubts about certain information out there. Take them all in, but don't limit yourself to just one sources of information. Accumulate the knowledge and you'd be able to make a judgement yourself.
P.P.S. I'm still a strong believer in the benefits of having an open mind. As such, don't completely dismiss business with sales copies that may sound like a lot of hype. It's okay to read and be hopefu about there, some where out there, that they is a non-conventionally easy way to make money online. Just, do your homework and think it through before spending any money on them okay? It's sometimes nice to spend a little here and there to get a brief change in perspectives for a while. Personally, now that I've spent as much as I've allowed myself to, I just go around looking and clicking at ads. Safe lists and the websites managing them tend to have ads all over the place, all trying to outsell each other. The nice thing is, since competition is so tight, businesses tend to do things like give free reports, trial memberships, e-books and lotsa other stuff away, to draw you in. Honestly, take the free stuff, and RUN LIKE HELL BEFORE I GET SUCKED INTO THE SALES AD AS WELL!!!
A lot of these ads are persistent and well-written, more so to the average person who might get hyped into their offers and stuff easily. Let's just be safe and not hang around the "scene of the crime" once the deed is done, hahahah!
We have our free products or memberships, bookmark the site, and return to it another day. That's what it REALLY means by "QUALITY PRODUCTS AT GREAT PRICES";) Sure, what they're giving away might not be as valuable as what they charging customers for, but we get free stuff and are normally professionally done, so we should be really satisfied!
The most important thing of all, we get free, quality information, and learning is what we're all about. Oh, and it's always a good idea to keep a folder of bookmarks for these sites so you'd be able to return to the site, if you do decide to get more information about them. There's always a chance that you'll be convinced by them, a chance that what they sell works miracles, and always a chance that tey'll hold another promotion!

For Beginners in Online Marketing
As a beginner in internet marketing, I really don't want to get into the technicalities of buiding a website. With that said, I was googling around to look for ways how, and I stumbled upon a site that looks like this:

You know how it is...a squeeze page appears, telling you how great their product/service is, how you'll benefit from what they're offering, which is fair, since that IS what squeeze pages are supposed to do. But you know, if you were anything like me, and have been looking around the net on the topic for hours on end every day, you'll eventually get used to, and a little sick of these colorful pages that feel the need to put underlined, bold and huge capitalized cgaracters, trying to vcovince you to get their product.
*Side note: if you don't know what squeeze pages are, google "what are squeeze pages" and you'll find your answer. I found that information from Wikipedia.
The site offered a free e-book so I thought "Might as well...". Honestly, I thought the concept of her marketing method is genius. I don't want to spoil what she's gonna say in that free e-book so go have a look. It's free so it won't hurt to have a read, and even if you aren't interested in what she's saying in that webpage, read the book for the heck of it. It makes an entertaining story.
I've thought her concept through, and in short, it really is a mutually beneficial way of doing business. In addition, apart from the risk of unsuccessful marketing on your part, it's pretty much risk and hassle-free for customers.
I was sold to her idea and now I'm trying you about it. Frankly, I'm still learning the ropes of internet marketing and haven't yet made any sales from that product, but as days pass, things become clearer and clearer to me. You know what they say, if something baffles you, sleep on it for a while and you wrap your head around it soon enough.
*Just an update on my spendings, I've reached $2000 on my credit card. Granted most of them are one-time investments that'll help my business in the future, but I still feel really guilty about it, hahaha...can't help it.
p.s. I'll go into more of the things I've come across that either provided business opportunities for myself, or have provided me with the resources to educate myself on the niche of online marketing. It's gonna take a while to cover everything to the point of where I am now but please bear with me. Perhaps you'll find something that appeals to you on the way;)

Two Simple Ways To Make Money
It has been two weeks or so since I started looking around for online business opportunities and not having very many skills to offer hasn't made things any easier. 2 weeks and over $1000 later, it still didn't seem like I was making much progress.
I was still trolling around the net, trying to find something that would at least point me in the right direction, without me having to pay more than a hundred dollars. Honestly, it was depressing as hell. So to cheer myself up a little, I searched "make easy money online" and other similar key phrases online to remind myself there was still hope. I know many of those would probably turn out to be scams or under-deliver but I just wanted to believe that money was out there, in the web somewhere and I just had to find out how to gethold of it...and legitimately, lol...
Somehow, I stumbled upon sites and people talking about paid surveys. That is, companies pay ordinary folks like you and myself, to complete surveys for their marketing research. I joined a couple of these sites but there were the kinds that would send you surveys when there were any, so I didn't end up making anything. You could try though. Google "paid surveys" and look for open surveys that will pay. it's said that there are many out there who scam people into doing the surveys and end up not paying them, so be careful...
Apparently, depending on the length and the kind of survey in general, you get paid anywhere from $5 to $50 per survey. Seems like a good deal to me. Unfortunately I've been occupied with an assignment that I'd have to complete by next week and thus, haven't had much time to search too hard for these surveys. Search around and let me know if you find anything good though. Hopefully it'd benefit the readers here, especially when it gets lots more traffic...lol.
(Doesn't it just feel like you're talking to yourself when your blogging never attracts any readers and comments? hahaha..)

This is an odd way to make money, but nevertheless...
Basically, people places their requests on the website and members post their suggestions to the one asking. Oh, suggestions for what? DOmain names...lols! Yeah, they'll places certain restrictions on what kind of domain name suggestions they;ll accept, and publish their requests for other members to suggest away.
The cool thing is that it's free to join, and you don't have to worry if the domain name has been used or suggested, 'cause the site will not allow them. After moderators review your suggestions, which are practically immediately, the "advertiser" so to speak, would rate them as "Like", "dislike", or "picked" if your suggestion gets picked. I'm not sure if the moderators get to rate the suggestions though. ANyways, you get paid if your suggestion gets picked. $25 per pick I think.
Simple enough, yes. Easy, not really. Paid suvey opportunities are unpredictable and the pickydomain one, well..you'll be competing with many other members for one "main prize", so it won't be easy.
Even so, there's no harm trying them out. Maybe you'd be able to do what I couldn't and walk away a little richer.:)

A Brief Intro
I recently embarked on a journey to try to create an extra stream of income for my family. More specifically, I'd like to be able to pull my own weight. Due to certain circumstances, finding a regular full or part-time job that I can manage hasn't really been possible and so, here I am!
It has only been a week or so since I started looking for ways to make money online and it didn't take, well too long at least, for me to realize that I could share my experiences online with you. Hopefully, this blog would help those interested in, or curious about e-commerce to get a better picture of what it is before getting your hands into it:)
In time to come, I'll be providing you with tips and advice, based on my experience, about starting an online business, web marketing, stuff like that. I know I'm still too much of a novice to be giving advice but I've been reading loads and am constantly joining websites to help expand my knowledge on that subject. Also, I'd be able to recommend products and/or services that helped me so you could make use of them as well. If I were to come across anything I think will be helpful, I'll post it here.
